It has come to my attention that some U.S. citizens are under the misapprehension that they are not entitled to vote in Irish local elections. I have clarified this with the U.S. Embassy who confirm that U.S. Citizens are entirely free to vote in Irish local elections without any loss of their rights as U.S. Citizens.
